Don't they need about $4-5M more to get to the minimum salary of $49.3 Million? They have 11 players under contract including Fredette, 12 if you count Isiah Thomas Jr. They can't just fill 3 more slots with minimum salary players.

They should just sign one player worth $5 Million since they can.

Don't underestimate these signings, this is something huge for the Kings. First off....yeah I'm lying they are trash who'll never make the team when season starts.

Also per ESPN...as long as the Kings have enough cap space they can sign/trade Dalembert which is highly likely as his potential suitors will need that option to sign him. Maybe thats the hold up in signing their mystery man. Though if this is what Grant was referring to, he can burn in hell with Petrie and the Maloofs.

What i think is that it was a fairly big free agent but all the Kings did was talk to them and put an offer on the table, and he jumped the gun.
