TNT New York - Memphis & Orlando - Golden State

New York - Memphis:

* The game was already over when I turned it on. It appears Stoudemire got in foul trouble, and New York just didn't have it. Also, Rudy Gay had a big scoring night.
* I like Tony Allen, but especially with Randolph out, I feel they need Mayo in the starting lineup for more offense and ball handling. But it's still early in the season, maybe Allen starting really is best for them. I just feel they under-use Mayo sometimes.

Orlando - Golden State:

* Starting now. Brown is out for the season with a torn pectoral muscle. (So is Al Horford.)
* I think Orlando will have a huge advantage from the 3-point line, and the Warriors will get caught up in long jumpers and take bad shots.

Shaq says that Byum is only averaging 1 less point per game than Howard. Therefore, since they're statistically similar, you have to consider them at the same level.

Barkley disagrees. He says Howard just doesn't have his head in the game.

I like Golden State's offense a lot more this year. They use the wins to isolate or set screens, instead of the top of the key.

I like what Mark Jackson has done.

* Biyombo tripped with no one around him, while running to the basket.
* Hayward swung an elbow at Tony Allen. It didn't hit him. Allen gets the offensive foul call. Allen then starts playing with his nose, thinking there's blood.
* A defender rips a hole in Elton Brand's shirt. He has to take it off and change his jersey, on the sideline. Shaq then comments that he didn't know Brand was in such great shape.
