Don't know who or if anyone else is watching this. I love what the Nuggets have in Lawson, Gallo, Fernandez, they have a great big man in NeNe, a nice young wing on the way in Wilson Chandler. Kenneth Faried also has a bright future

Lebron doing a commercial about high school how fitting, considering that is the highest education he ever received

Mozgov got a deep ball from Gallo at the end of the half but couldn't put it in

I guess Mosgov is just one of those players i will never like. Im sure he has a bright future but i haven't seen much from him that I like.

I may be the only one in the thread tonight! OH WELL!> I WISH I could go back to that post where me and nuraman were commentators for a Sunday Night Baseball Giants game. We will have to do that again.

a game no one watched. Phoenix Suns vs. New Jersey Nets
Suns didn't even have Grant Hill and Nash.

I could have provided ore highlights

I would have watched that! New Jersey has lost 13 of 15 against Phoenix. And they have lost 15 of 16 at Phoenix. You have no idea how today was a historic win for them!

You know I keep track of all of these weird streaks teams have against each other in the league. :)

Faried only looked good because he was going against the Kings. :)

I don't know about the Nuggets future in the frontcourt. Nene is getting old, and they're going to need a new frontcourt now. His game was always based on his strength and athleticism. He, like Kenyon, were better at defense than offense, and I don't think Nene can keep it up defensively, even this year.

Their guards and swingmen look good, but I don't like their bigs.

Prohorov turned the Nets into the Knicks. And I don't mean that as a compliment. I mean the Knicks of a few years ago.

Now, if they can get Dwight Howard, then they have something. Otherwise . . . they'll be like the Cavs, Suns, Wizards, Warriors, and Kings.

I feel like you aren't giving Jay-Z any credit for his tremendous effort in making this team look as bad as he can

LOL! Someone should tell one of those tabloids to write an article on how Jay-Z screwed up the Nets. That will tarnish his legacy.

Tyreke is pretty good, but imagine if he had Lawson's even better body control!

James travels on a post-up.

I'm going to count how many times he posts up for the rest of the game.

Dang Cole has some long strides. Almost like Monta Ellis.

I remember shawniboi and dwckings had wanted Lawson.

I was adverse to him, because I was afraid of his injuries, and defense.

So far, in his career, he's been pretty healthy. No injuries where he had to be out 3-4 weeks. And I think his defense is ok. I was afraid it would be like Damon Stoudamire or Earl Boykins. But it's fine.

I think Lawson is better now than Evans in a halfcourt offense, and that's more important than passes on a fastbreak IMO. So yes. The Kings need to get better now ASAP, and not wait for potential (Tyreke to improve).

The Kings need to start reducing their holes. So yes I'd do it.

BTW, I think Andre Miller, and former Nugget Camby, are two of the active best players never to have been an All-Star.

Did you know that in December 2006, I saw a Nike commercial one day. I didn't recognize who the guy was, but then I saw the Chinese tattoo. And then the commercial ended with "and now, I'm an all-Star". It was Camby! (Voting wasn't due for another month though).

About a week after I saw that commercial, Camby got injured and would be out for 4-6 weeks. :( Probably the closest he ever was.

I'm disappointed they showed more NFL jerseys than NBA ones. Cmon Nuggets fans, aren't you buying Lawson or Gallinari jerseys?

3 commercials in 3 months. Wow, they spent a lot in that campaign. Not to mention the other commercials, without Rodgers. There's about 4 other commercials too.

I always think its funny how the same thing in sports can lead to different results on different days.

Roy Halladay can make the same pitches, but one day he'll get strikeouts, and another day he'll get hit.

Miami can have these same isolations, and one day they'll make then, and one day they won't.

The broadcasters will try to say there's a tenth of an inch or a 0.5 second difference somewhere, but there really isn't.

nuraman00
01-13-2012, 09:51 PM
LeBron James could use two assists to end the game.

It's unfortunate neither Camby or Miller never made it. But in a time where the fans hold the power it would be nearly impossible to get more of the deserving lesser known guys in

Coaches also pick some weird players too, but yeah, it's just one of those things where they just didn't have whatever they needed to get recognition.

And also IMO, the organization has to publicly promote you as an All-Star. That does influence some coaches, IMO. Camby and Miller were never promoted as such, especially Camby. It's weird that he can be a DPOY but not an All-Star.

Man, a rookie like Norris Cole looks so much more mistake-free than anyone on the Kings. Are the coaches on the Kings unable to make them play like this?

that would be the one. I also took a cheap shot at Lebron in this thread, probably wasn't the nicest thing. But it relates to an earlier topic in "State Farm Proffesional Athlete Commercials"

i think he also has had the chance to learn from some great mentors, which the Kings don't have as much of

I'm glad interleague is expanding. I just like seeing different matchups during a 162 game season. And it's a good thing the Giants caught the Indians when they were still playing well, so it was more fun to beat them.

Abdur-Rahim and Jackson should be enough. Then again, I remember Abdur-Rahim started to turn it over a lot during his last full season as a King. Maybe he passed it onto the the Kings players, haha.
