Keys:

1. Get on your knees and pray.

These games at Dallas are usually over in the 1st quarter.

Kings have lost 14 in a row at Dallas, last winning during 2002-2003.

Average margin of defeat is 12.92 points, with two 2-point games, and several 20+ point losses.

If the Kings are to win, their backcourt will have to step up. A good showing by the frontcourt won't be enough.

I won't be here, nor will I have radio access. Hopefully it's not too bad of a game.

The Kings lose when I predict them to win. The opposing team wins when I choose the opposing team to win. So I will say the Lakers will win instead.

Player of the game: Jimmer (but for which team will he help win?!)

Fredette to Marion (they then play the stuttering echo sound affect as he dunks)!

Cousins has to stop forcing it especially when he just gets blocked. Dallas is making the Kings look ugly. The Kings are making the Kings look disasterous.

Tyreke with the steal! Then the pass to Vince Carter for a layup! Too bad Carter isn't playing for the Kings tonight. Hmmm I guess Tyreke isn't either.

Time to fire Petrie, gut this team, and bring in Sloan. This is some real bad basketball!

Franchise record for fewest points in 1st half. 23 points! Glad Smart has righted the ship and has the team playing so much better. Westphal is rolling in his NBA grave.

52-23 heading to halftime.

I mean 3 Kings covering Haywood on the Perimeter? Are we watching 3rd graders play basketball?

I'd be up for that....cepting they would immediately promote Bobby Jax as the interim long term GM

I'm shocked Grant and Jerry aren't crying right now. I think this game was the only thing worse than the Kings potentially leaving.

Bright side: There might not be a worse game they could ever play

Negative side: This was the worse game the franchise could of ever played, especially with the talent on the roster. Every aspect was miserable.

Sad part is, Dallas played very relaxed the second half. If they wanted to, this could of been worse.

lol, what a disaster.

How long are they going to run for Salmons? This isn't just a random issue - the guy shot 41% last year too. The less involved he is, the worse he plays. Been that way for five or six years now.

Right now playing Salmons is like letting Jose Canseco pitch. No good can possibly come from it. He isn't fitting on either end of the floor and is being beat like a sick dog. A really questionable trade has proven to be horrible as can be. I'd rather have Beno back and running Tyreke at SF.

Lol I guess westphal wasn't the big problem after all? It's just the inexperienced team. At this point I wouldn't be shocked if we started trading players. Right now we are in panic mode. Really don't wana lose reke or cousins though D:

Do you mean Thompson committed an offensive foul? Or he missed the FG and went 1/2 from the foul line?

Ok, I think you mean the former. Was this the play-by-play? So Thompson had a loose ball foul?

What did they do to go on that surge?

They made a few baskets lol. Had a few open looks and got to the FT line. Nothing special, but they were down 10-0, attacked the boards and made some hoops. After that Dallas called a timeout, and the Kings never scored again.

Do you mean Thompson committed an offensive foul? Or he missed the FG and went 1/2 from the foul line?

He was set up nicely under the basket right through the defenders. He had a clean layup or dunk, but instead he rushed a layup off the side of the rim. He then pushed away the defender to try to get the rebound and got called with the loose ball foul. Typical silly JT play.

As I said, "get on your knees and pray", about this game. It was not going to be good.

Yeah I didn't expect much, but I didn't really think the Kings would be destroyed like they were. I'm not kidding, Dallas definately half-assed the second half. They had 1% of the aggressiveness they had earlier in the game. They knew it was over and didn't want to beat a dead dog. If they wanted to, it would of probably been 130-50.

Westphal was never really the problem. He wasn't the best, but god almighty this roster has had problems day 1. They are just days off from being the youngest team in the league. Their best players are rookie/second year players who still have a long learning curve to go through. The vets are horrible. No on floor leadership. Lacking a bonafide point guard, and nobody who can handle and pass the ball. So far they are averaging .9 assist:turnover ratio. That is beyond bad, among the worst ratios you can ever have.

Don't worry. At least if we get the worst record, we'll have another nice 4th overall pick to use.

When the season started, I envisioned Evans and Thornton alternating who sets up the offense. It hasn't gone like I envisioned.

Last year, the team had a 1.27 A/T, which would be ranked 20th this year, right after Miami. That would have obviously been more respectable. Hard still to explain this big of a drop in A/T.

Minnesota is at 0.99. They're not too hot either.

Normally Garcia provides some leadership, but he's not playing well enough to get minutes and actually show his leadership.

You also forgot to mention how the defense is closer to 2008-2009 than they looked during the last 26 games of last year. But I now, you don't want to write a book about how the Kings suck. Lol.

That and I'm trying to forget how bad those years were. The team this year is not making it easier. I had a lot of hope the defense would actually be solid this year. Salmons, a healthy Tyreke, and Thornton should of made the perimeter defense much more respectable than it was the past few years. Unfortunately...they sit by and watch the other players run by while failing to run back on defense. The effort or commitment is just not there.

As for the Thornton and Tyreke concept of alternating who runs the ball, the problem is with their mindset. Watch Tyreke on offense. So many times, he never even scans the floor when he has the ball. He just zones into the basket to make his drive without even thinking about anyone else having an open shot. Thorton is much the same. He catches the ball and either shoots it up right away or automatically cuts to the basket. The offensive flow is just nonexistent, and is much like kids on a playground just trying to make whatever shot they can toss up. No structure, no awareness, no discipline.

Now the passes that Jimmer makes to opposing teams' players. Thats the ball movement we need.

Evans and Thornton would drive with their brains more last year. But this year, this year, they are driving like rookies.
