Isaiah Thomas was on.

* Described the block last night. "Thornton fumbled the ball. Matthews was on the other end, but he didn't take it strong. He tried to go one on one. So I just tried to make a play, and blocked his shot".

* About being drafted 60th: "I was a little said that I had to wait that long, because I'm better than 1/2 the guards picked ahead of me. But I know a lot of GMs were scared off by my size. I'm thankful for the Sacramento Kings organization for picking me. When they picked me, I knew they were a good organization because they had the confidence in me."

* About Smart: "He's believed in me so much, and he's a great coach. When he became the head coach, I asked him what I needed to do to play, and he laid it out for me".

* About playing an important role in the 4th quarter: "This organization believes in me and has given me a chance to play late in games. I'm just trying to show what I can do. It's been fun."

* "Everyday is a day where I learn something new. And I'm still learning how to play with my teammates. The schedule will allow for more practice soon, so that will help. I'm still learning where JT and DeMarcus want the ball. For example, DeMarcus might want a bounce pass if he's on a certain side of the block."

* Grant compared Thomas to former King Spud Webb, in how they both played hard and didn't let anyone discourage them or tell them what they couldn't do. Grant also brought up how Mugsy Bogues lead a team to the playoffs.

* "Everyday I have to prove it all over again, and show what I can do".

* "We've been in games against Utah and Golden State, and now we have to start winning them".

* About facing Golden State again, after two preseason games and one regular season game: "It helps facing the same team again, especially in such a short period of time. We can focus on what Coach Smart said we needed to not let them do the next time, and we can go out and do it".

I noticed last night the Blazers seemingly waited SOOOOOOOOOOO long to get a shot up during their fastbreaks/layups. They held it until they were on their way down before releasing it, causing them to get stuffed a few times.

Thomas is a beast and glad he is seeing time over Jimmer.
