For those who didn't see. Kings had the ball with 3 seconds left in the first quarter coming out of a timeout. How did they end the 1st??? A 3 point attempt by Hickson :facepalm:

So far Cousins and Thornton are the ones showing up. Thomas had some good set plays, but nobody could really score.

To start the second, huge scramble for the ball. Thomas comes away with it. Garcia gets the toss. Garcia tosses it into the hands of a Utah player :facepalm:

Love how Cousins is so aggressive down low, but for god sakes he needs to learn to back it out from the paint when he is being constantly blocked and slapped.

I'm glad he has improved so much from the line. He gets there often enough that making them is important.

Jimmer telegraphs a bounce pass to Cousins which is easily stolen by the Jazz. 8 turnovers now by Sac.

Notes for the day: Starting lineup outside of Cousins was pretty crappy. Bench despite some really fluffy moments, kept the team in it and tied it up. Starting lineup came back with a minute to go and went down by 7. Fortunately Tyreke got a layup and 2 FTs to cut it close.

Salmons got burned, but Cousins draws the charge on Josh Howard! Kings ball up by 4 with only 15 seconds to go.

Thornton goes to the line to close out the game. Kings win Kings win. Wasn't pretty, but a lot of hard played efforts by Cousins, Thomas, Thornton, JT, Salmons, Garcia, Hayes. Evans was on the court, but sucked and is painfully dumb. He is the today's black sheep. MVP goes to Cousins and Thomas who both were so key at important junctions of the game.

Haha, he elbowed harris a few times before too. I don't mind it at all either, but he gots to learn to not do it right in front of the ref during a key moment of the game. Was still funny to see.

I really hate Tyreke being so disappointing because he has so much ability. He needs to hit up JT for some of his happy pills to pump him up or something.

Best thing about this game wasn't that they won but that they actually won by closing it out and not just by getting lucky. They looked pretty poised in crunch time for the most part. Hope they can keep this up and dominate at home in March.

I know. I thought he would be good when he was drafted too. I was rudely awakened during his rookie year, when David West scored 40 on him, and Memhet Okur scored 27. No, Okur didn't score on Thompson by shooting perimeter jumpers. He just used his face-up game to fake and drive past Thompson.

Thompson has improved since his rookie year, but he doesn't impact the game defensively. He's just stopped guys from scoring 25 on him.
