New Black Alternate King Uniform [Archive]

1 I like the classic design element to these ones. I feel like the new black alternates are a little bit too busy. I'm also not into the cursive font, i would personally favor the font used back in the early 2000's. Overall though, it's hard not to be at least half satisfied just to have a black jersey again.

Uh huh. They're pasted on lol - back when Nike was making them, they had the authentic style stitching. Now they're hardly better than the screen printed replicas.

Though i do want them to go back to their old logo and use the style for these alternates for their home and other road jerseys.

You just didn't see the video where Chris Webber introduced those jerseys and said "We put Sacramento on the front because we're proud to be from Sacramento and we want everyone to know where we're from!". Then the crowed cheered.

But I know, you always then retort "people already know where to find Sacramento on a map".

BTW, I wanted both black and purple Sacramento road jerseys. Not one more than the other.

Hah - that would be nice, but there is no stitching. It's just heat pressed on. Wash it a few times and the numbers will start to curl at the corner and come off. The knockoff jerseys on Ebay are way better quality wise than the current swingmans.

Authentic are fantastic, of course, just absurdly priced.

Mostly Ebay. There are a few good sellers on their who have hook ups to the Kings - you can also get them from the Kings themselves every once in a great while. Most pro sport franchises sell off memorabilia/previous years gear that is left over. I have so much Kings memorabilia/autographs/jerseys I could start a shrine it seems like lol

Not sure why, but, I've always loved these. Maybe it's just the memories associated with them.

What color would you describe the letters? Is that white? Or something between white and silver? Something about the color bothers me.

Ok, I don't like how there's white letters and silver numbers. Keep them the same color IMO. And silver (with black) . . . it's been done by too many franchises. Get original.

I think I'd prefer something neither white nor silver.
