Kings played great defense for the entire first. That's a major improvement. After that a beat down ensued. Body language for the Kings are bad. Halftime interview with Durant was great. Humble, team guy, and an MVP.
Best part of the game? Jim Gray's moronic ass asking Marcus Thornton if he enjoyed the absurd ally-oop from Durant to Westbrook and Thornton giving him the WTF are you retarded look.

It's a road game with an early start time.

From listening to the radio, it sounded like things went bad early in the 4th.
Also, Evans couldn't guard Durant, and got in foul trouble early.

It went bad in the 2nd. The Kings had it sort of close in the first, but they got slammed in the second quarter and there was no recovering.

Yeah, Smart said he pulled his starters in the middle of the 3rd, and played his young guys.

Anyways, when they play the Spurs on Wednesday, hopefully it's a decent game, like 2 weeks ago.

Thats the hope. Playing well and the younger players showing at least some strides will make me happy.

What's been disappointing during some of the games, is that the younger players haven't been playing as well. Or, they haven't been making as much progress as players in other situations like Klay Thompson in GS, or the players in Portland.
I know Fredette is in a different situation than them, since he's a rookie, and his role is different from last year. But it makes these games harder to watch. Even Bobcats rookies look better while getting blown out.
I didn't mind the losses at the end of 2006-2007, for example, because at least they played hard and competed with teams, even while losing.

What's disappointing is that at the end of this year, Evans and the Thunder will have matched up 12 times. Each game, I keep thinking "this will be the game that our guy will go toe-to-toe with Westbrook, or now Durant, since Evans is a SF".
Each time, it doesn't even come close to living up to the hype.
And then there's yesterday's dud by Evans.
I keep wanting Evans to show that he can play with the All-Stars.
If they're getting blown out by Evans is showing something, then that's more watchable/listenable.
But when everyone just sucks, then what fun is that?
These guys are ready for the season to be over - like us. Poor play and poor ownership have drained everybody.

I'm not ready. I want 82 games! I'm missing not seeing some of the other matchups there normally are.
Or I at least want the more watchable Kings, like they had been playing from the middle of March to the 1st week of April.
I'm ready, lol. What an awful year, from top to bottom. Lone bright spots are Cousins and Thomas. The rest has just been ugh.
