Stupid Thornton had a blocked shot in the 1st half..I dropped him the other day.

I trial nuraman00 by 2 blocked shots (as of right now) in fantasy championship.

Nuraman still has Javale Mcgee tonight (averages 2.3 blocks a game)

But blocks are one of those stats that you can get 'lucky' in...for example, having 3 players who aren't known as shotblockers getting 1 lucky block a piece in a game...could do wonders for your fantasy team. I'm hoping something like that happens lol.

Got to admit, it was the scene of the night to see Garcia's look after Thornton made the shot. Garcia was like thank #%%ing god.

Also...like Jerry/Grant pointed out...the Blazers had no timeouts and most of the Kings fell asleep when the ball went back into play. They were saved from a very painful end.

Wow. I can't remember him doing that this season.

Looking at his stats, he only gets 1.0 offensive rebounds a game this year. So maybe that's why. But no, he averaged slightly less offensive rebounds the past few years.

Also - did anybody see Tyreke on the final play after Thornton's shot? Heard a few people saying he was looking like a kicked puppy dog, hands on hips, not getting back and generally pouting.

Who did he fake out?

I don't quite remember but it was either Matthews or Batum. He got the ball in the corner faked the shot which got the defender leaping in air past. He took a couple steps in for an easier shot which he switched. Good patience on that play.

I believe Noc was still bitter from previous interactions where Evans called him out during a game his rookie year for some bad shots taken. They argued a bit, and I think Noc held a grudge following that. Evans seems too quiet overall, as you said, to go on lockerroom ego trips.

Yep thats why I made my end game comment that thankfully Thornton got the ball as nobody else was moving. Cousins set a screen, Thomas was the inbounder. Tyreke was off to the side doing nothing. Not even trying to deke defenders to make them think he was getting the ball.

Cousins knocked the ball out of the offensive player down low when they tried to drive in on him (forgot who), and he just muscle snatched it. Thomas saw and immediately cut down the middle, Cousins threw a very nice pass just ahead of Thomas and Thomas left the defender in the dust for the uncontested layup (they were almost even, and then Thomas turned on the jets and the defender had no chance...think it was Flynn with him).

He had the ball 16 feet out, started driving the ball, did about two spin moves to get his man off twice, and got to the rack to lay it in. Was expecting him to lose the ball 3 times, but he kept on trucking.

Yeah there were only 2 plays that stood out to me where he forced shots. The 3 that I mentioned, and a forced layup with a few minutes to go that followed a possession where Evan did a piss poor reverse fadeaway from 10 feet out the time before. For the most part, he played off the ball well and kept in the offensive flow. Evans was the baddie in my mind. He took 21 FG attempts...made 9...and almost everyone of them was right at the basket give or take a few feet. He missed some freebie points.

Yep as Eze said, they didn't have the balls to come down to the floor. They were outside their suite with security posted outside...yes....thats real.
