Let's go Marion, Nowitzki, and Westbrook.

Marion gets it stripped. :(

nuraman00
04-28-2012, 06:48 PM
Marion for 3. :) 9-7.

nuraman00
04-28-2012, 06:53 PM
I don't know what it is about these teams, but they seem to play close games often. :)

Lincecum with 3 walks in 3 innings.

nuraman00
04-28-2012, 07:01 PM
Unreal. Terry for 3, 23-15.

Even if Dallas wins this series, they'll probably lose against the Lakers/Nuggets winner. But Dallas sure does match up well with OKC.

nuraman00
04-28-2012, 07:09 PM
Terry just hit one of those impossible 3's that only superstars hit.

27-22.

End of 1st. Good game.

nuraman00
04-28-2012, 07:19 PM
Terry is putting on a show.

14 points for him, 33-27, 9:20 left.

Ibaka for 3, LOL!

51-48, halftime.

Time to make margaritas.

Brandon Belt 2-RBI double!

nuraman00

Westbrook to Durant on the fast break for a dunk. 51-52.

73-69, start of 4th.

nuraman00
04-28-2012, 08:38 PM
Dallas has two fouls in the 4th quarter's first 1:30.

I smell trouble.

That's just going to put guys like Harden, Durant, Westbrook at the line earlier.

nuraman00
04-28-2012, 08:48 PM
Carter with a post up fadeaway over Fisher.

80-75.

nuraman00
04-28-2012, 08:56 PM
Harden already has 10 FTA. Wow.

Dallas takes the lead. I was hoping they'd make this a good series!

Ibaka the slam to tie it and he goes to the line.

Kevin misses the 8 footer, Dirk the rebound and timeout.

Now Dirk has to prove himself yet again.

nuraman00
04-28-2012, 09:16 PM
I'd try a Dirk to Marion play actually.

bloatedmaniac
04-28-2012, 09:17 PM
Dirk is fouled with 9 seconds to go.

bloatedmaniac
04-28-2012, 09:18 PM
Now time for Durant to answer. I don't think Durant will do it.

nuraman00
04-28-2012, 09:18 PM
98-97 7.0 left.

I'd go to Durant or Harden. I like Harden a bit more, because he has better handles, and can get fouled more easily.

Durant = not top 7 player, right Bucher? :heehee:

bloatedmaniac
04-28-2012, 09:20 PM
I lied....btw wtf was that Marion? You think you can go across court in 1.5 seconds. You aren't playing the Kings where the clock doesn't start.

nuraman00
04-28-2012, 09:20 PM
Incredible finish, a rolling bank shot by Durant.

I guess Dallas was out of timeouts!

98-99.

Terry will not get so hot again.

Dallas controlled 70% of this game.

But, every game in a series is different. All I know is that this was a wire-to-wire great game.

I responded to that thread. :)

His FG% wasn't so hot.

Yeah definately a good game. Both teams answered, and didn't let things get out of hand.

Ha - I know you did. Was just being an ass towards Bucher.

Durant's money - few, if any, I'm taking over him currently in the NBA to start a franchise. That's top 7 to me.

nuraman00
04-28-2012, 09:24 PM
I'll start the playoffs with the Nuggets-Lakers game tomorrow. Sorry, I love watching the Jazz, but I think Jazz-Spurs is going to be somewhat like Knicks-Heat.

Well, to start a a franchise is different, because that eliminates some older but great players.

I think Westbrook brings more value over the course of a game, partly because he's an above average, if not very good defender.

nuraman00
04-28-2012, 09:26 PM
I think any of the latter 3 games tomorrow has a good chance of being as good of a game as this.

I'm expecting the Nuggets - Lakers to be a tough series. I'm with you on the Utah - Spurs being not so pretty. Utah is a good story, a young tough team playing good team ball, but the Spurs have too much for the Jazz to handle.

I'd like the Jazz chances more if they were facing the Lakers or Thunder.

Spurs are just too efficient with their offense.

Plus, I think Favors/Millsap/Jefferson would do more against the Lakers/Thunder.

I had it being a short series, but I think the games will be compelling at least. Mostly close games.

Someone like Faried and even Koufos will be X-factors.

It's only 9:30PM, and the playoffs are done for the night. And no TNT postgame show to watch. :(

Durant's shot was also a garbage nutbanger shot, it was more lucky than good. I'd be saying the same thing if Kobe Bryant or Tyreke Evans took that shot. Or I'd be criticizing the offense.

If it was the Spurs, there's an 80% chance you'd see Ginobili taking a better shot in that same situation.

This Durant shot was much better:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtHq9RFQeqc

He was in rhythm, coming off of a screen.

This one below was still tough, but he had a little more space on his defender, IMO, so it was still a little better than yesterday's shot:

This one below was a nutbanger lucky shot, but he was a rookie, so he gets a pass:

Watch the clip below from 30-37 seconds, this one is my favorite, partly because it's the best shot:

I don't think it was lucky. You have to remember..it was Durant taking the shot. He made a nice move to get seperation from Marion...and put up a decent shot IMO. The fact that the ball hit off the rim and went in made it seem more lucky than it was. If he would've swished it, would people still call it luck?

I probably wouldn't have, but I just thought it was a well defended shot.

I like seeing someone get open (but props to the Mavs defense too).

OKC has been bad on the boards in the 2nd quarter. They also haven't been able to guard Dallas either.

47-50.

nuraman00
04-30-2012, 08:00 PM
I like the way Kidd is playing today.

50-57.

OKC has also cut down on their unnecessary mistakes from last year.
