Game 2.
IowaSacKing93

Nice job being aggressive Hibbert. 2-0 Indiana
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 04:04 PM
Again Big Hib! 4-0 Indiana.
IowaSacKing93

Hey, what do you know, another whiteout in Miami.
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 04:06 PM
Wow, Granger is slower than I thought. And then he finished with a lame layin attempt. Got fouled though. 6-2 Indiana. Miami is sucking a little, not in any kind of rhythm.
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 04:07 PM
Hibbert controlling the offensive rebound, drawing a foul. Now hit your free throws Roy.
9-4 Indiana.
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 04:08 PM
LeBron hitting a typical LeBron 1st quarter shot. 9-6 Indiana.

I don't like the pace of this game so far. Too many weird plays/shots. Not enough consistency.
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 04:14 PM
George Hill has had a couple of nice passes inside. Neither time was Indiana able to finish at the hoop.
12-9 Indiana
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 04:15 PM
Nice, Hill drives inside and sneaks in for the layup. Hill is playing well.
16-9 Indiana
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 04:16 PM
This is a pretty big lineup for Indiana. Hill and George in the backcourt.
Then Hibbert, Granger, West.
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 04:20 PM
Shane Battier checks in and gets stuffed by Hibbert.
Lebron to Turiaf for the easy jam!
16-13 Indiana
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 04:21 PM
Miami has awoken.
Indiana just needs to stay calm and not let Miami take over this game in transition. Then it will get ugly fast
Come on Pacers, prove nuraman00 wrong. Win this game in the half court
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 04:36 PM
Bosh is out indefeinitely?
23-19 Miami, early 2nd.

Look alive Indiana! Stop sucking.
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 04:44 PM
This doesn't feel like a night game. It's still day out here, only 6:45. It feels more like a day game.
28-21 Miami.
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 05:00 PM
Hill hits a 3.
33-31 Miami
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 05:03 PM
The first 3 of the series for Miami. A long one from Battier.
36-33 Miami, another low scoring playoff game :(
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 05:43 PM

48-46, Indiana.
Granger hits a nice jumper .50-46.
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 05:44 PM
Granger again. 52-46
3:45 left in the 3rd.
I'm happy that Indiana is in the game, it's just not that good of a game. I wish both teams were playing at their bests.
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 05:51 PM
Granger again. Why couldn't he play like this during fantasy season?
IowaSacKing93
05-15-2012, 06:06 PM
Wade with a flagrant foul.

LOL. I had the same problem with Indiana in the 1st round, and it appears Miami has been prone to that during this season too.

Yeah. I doubt Bosh returns for the playoffs, unless it's during the NBA Finals.

Indiana committed a ton of turnovers in the 4th, but Miami didn't make their shots either.
Still, I don't think Indiana will play much better at home, I just don't think they have the type of game that translates better home or road. They could be close games still.

Didnt see the first half of the game. Saw the 3rd and half of the 4th quarter at the gym, and then listened in the car.
Miami flat out missed their jump shots in the 2nd half. Chalmers was getting stuff at the rim, and Miami looked decent in transition, but other than that, offense was very stale in the 2nd half.
Hibbert was huge inside too. When he was able to stay in the middle of the paint, he was able to block shots or get misses to go up from Miami. There were a few times that Chalmers made the Indiana D look silly.
Indiana had good ball movement in the 4th quarter. I especially liked Hibbert's ability to find an open man on the other side of the floor (George Hill i think) for an open 3. Hibbert had some nice post shots too, and a really nice hook towards the end of the game. Reminded me of San Antonio's offense a little bit.
The bottomline is: Wade and Lebron (in the 2nd half) didn't show up. Who are you going to turn to other than these two late in the game? Anthony, Haslem, Turiaf? Miami has a problem. I know give both teams a 50% chance of winning the series.

Didn't see the game, didn't feel like watching a game on delay that turned into a blowout.
From the sounds of it, Hibbert played the way some experts dreamed of, when they broke down this series. They said Indiana would have a major advantage in the frontcourt.
I wish Bosh was healthy, just because I would want to watch the frontcourt matchup at full strength.

LeBron almost got into it with Danny Granger after the Pacers forward pulled his jersey back on a breakaway. LeBron missed the following free throw, which prompted Pacers reserve Lance Stephenson to give LeBron the choke signal. That kind of night for Miami.

LOL!
Remember when Cousins gave the choke signal to the Warriors? Radmanovic then ended up hitting the OT forcing 3, and the Warriors won.

I would trade Evans for Paul George in a heartbeat
nuraman00
05-17-2012, 10:49 PM
Ok, I watched the 2nd and 3rd quarter.
IMO, Miami was playing too fast on offense. They just took the first jump shot they could find, rather than trying to get a better shot.
And Hibbert ran the floor better than I expected.

Hey PackfanMatt_12 (http://kingsforum.net/live/member.php?7-PackfanMatt_12)! You're watching and posting today.
I would do Paul George, just because I think the Kings need a lot of help at guard. I think George has the potential to be a good ball handler and scorer. He's not playing that well in the playoffs, but he had some monster games in the regular season.
It's a bit of a gamble, but I would try it.

Yeah I still read through and post some thoughts, I just haven't watched much lately because of the NBA playoffs. When the amount of games slow down, during the NBA Finals, I'll probably watch again.
I listened to part of the game yesterday, Vogelsong sounded great.

It's all good. I'm sure he's a good interview too, as he normally is.
I thought this was like Willis Reed or something. :)
Actually, a better comparison would have been Baron Davis in the 2003 series against Philly. He had been injured the prior game, and left the game. No one thought he would play.
The Hornets had a closed practice.
Then he suited up the next game, much to everyone's surprise.
Caron Butler also did something similar this year, with his surprising return from injury.

Hubie said Indiana is like a chameleon. They can be whatever they want to be. Post team, 3-point shooting team.
That was evident with Granger and Paul George hitting 3's, then Hibbert with a jumper.
James to Haslem for a jumper!
Granger for 3!
Hibbert with a jumper!

Haslem makes a shot, then runs down on defense with his mouthpiece hanging out.
How do players do that, aren't they conscious of their mouth piece?
I was always annoyed that Jordan would play with his gum, when running on defense. Stop playing with your gum and focus on the court, lol.

On offense, he pump faked Anthony twice then banked it in down low.

So "deke moves" wasn't a reference to Mutombo then, but just to the series of fakes?

Barbosa fouls Wade on a post-up.
I don't like Wade posting up, he's not a good enough shooter.

Indiana is falling asleep on offense. They're not trying very hard to get a good shot.
