Melvin said:

* The roster is pretty different than spring training. They've added a lot of players since then.

* Cespedes is still making a cultural adjustment, and he still doesn't speak English that well.

* He said a lot of good things about Johnny Gomes.

* Said having all of those walk-off wins (10 this year) has given them confidence, and he thinks it will help in the playoffs.
