Aaagh! This is confusing. I was then convinced that +damage caused a huge bump.
BUT, when I replaced THIS:
Equipped: Valiant Loop
+ 15 poison resistance
* Critical Hit Chance increased by 1.5%
* Monster Kills + 13 experience
* Socket: +34 dexterity
+ 12 Vitality
* Critical Hit Chance increased by 2.0%
* Monster Kills + 13 experience
My DPS went down 23.5, and my protection 0.1%.
I thought it wouldn't matter that much, not having the +34 dexterity socket. I thought going from +4-8 damage to +5-10 would help a lot.
It's happening again.
My PS2 isn't reading discs. I tried both games that I have, as well as an audio CD. They won't spin.
Just to refresh my history, I first bought a used PS2 in August 2007.
In May 2011, it stopped reading discs. I sent it in to Sony, they couldn't fix it. They said I could buy a refurbished one from them for $50.
Now, only 15 months later, this one isn't reading discs.
I don't know what to do anymore. I used to love playing consoles when I was younger, but I didn't want to commit to a modern console a few years ago, because nowadays I could go weeks, even months, without playing them. Just don't have the time to play them that often. So I thought a PS2 was a better investment for how much I would play it, rather than spending $300+ on a modern console and buying games for $60-$70 each.
I'll try it again in a few days, and maybe it will work. If not, I don't know what to do. I don't want to play just PC games. But I also think if I can easily go 4-12 weeks without playing a console, then I don't play it enough to buy a new one.
My NES and SNES both still work, but the only game I'd regularly play on that is Sim City, or Tetris, and I need something else.
So PS2 started working again after that post I made in September. It worked a few days later.
But then the drum pedal for Rock Band broke today.
It seems like the PS2 always has something wrong with it on holidays.
* Memorial Weekend 2011: PS2 stops working. I end up buying a refurbished one from Sony.
* Labor Day 2011: Stops working that weekend, but would resume a few days later.
* New Years Day 2013: Drum pedal breaks.
I bought the original used one from eBay back in 2007. After it died in 2011, I bought a refurbished one from Sony for another $50.
And this one stops working, especially on holidays when I have the day off and can actually play. Or today, my drum pedal breaks.
Watch, something bad will happen around MLK day.
So two different PS2s have problems reading discs. I don't know why Sony's hardware is so problematic. CD ROMS on PCs have lasted longer.
They wont release it for the ps4 =( I didn't play for it for ps3 only due to wanting it for the ps4 and the 1st game Id buy for it. I wish I got a chance to play that game, Ill just wait for the newer one that will eventually come out =/
My most current console is a PS2. I don't plan on getting a new one, don't play games often enough to justify getting a new one, and enough games to make it a good purchase.
PC gaming is a lower cost investment, as the hardware is already there.
I do like console games, but it was more fun when there were some friends who also bought consoles, and we could all buy different games and consoles and get together and play each others' games.
I don't like online multiplayer with random opponents. People quit easily, or just play weirdly.
I like playing opponents I "know". Like when bloatedmaniac or GoKings2010 and I played Diablo 3 a few years ago (normal game mode).
I have considered maybe getting a used Gamecube or Wii and playing some Zelda games and such. But I have to do it in a stretch of the calendar when there's less good sports on. With the NBA playoffs and then the 2nd half of the MLB regular season, I prefer watching sports to playing games.
find a DreamCast that system was a lot of fun. U can find ps4 on clist for kinda cheap if u keep looking. I cant wait for later on in the yr for games to drop. I really want the Final Fantasy game. UFC is going to be fun as well. U still get on Diablo nuramon? I heard they made a extension for it
