I think I agree about Blake. He just forces it. And a lot of times it ends up being a bad shot. But he's not a great jump shooter either. I guess he's kind of stuck lol.

Well the Clippers performed like the Kings today
Below average defender. He can't take over and make plays for others.
For example, I don't see 3 assists in a 5 min stretch.
I think his stats make him look better than he is.
If they performed like the Kings, Denver would have had 93 points in the paint, and there would be angry callers on sports radio the next day, complaining that they took their kids to the game and their kids started crying.
(That's what all of the callers were like after the 93 points in the paint game last year.)
I like Jerry's personality. I never take anything he says seriously...I find him funny....even though he isn't. Its like he is funny in a pitiful way that he really tries hard, and makes you facepalm. Guess I just got used to it.
Speaking of which...I remembered a nickname he had for Peja. Peja Vu!!! He'd use that anytime he'd make a couple 3s in a row. "I had a case of Peja Vu."

The nicknames he comes up with seldom makes sense. It always irritated me when he used the Tazmanian Slovanian for Beno.

You would think his speed would help with perimeter defense. I'll have to pay more attention to him defensively, and see what I come up with

Or Tyrone Lue, especially in the Finals.
Chris Paul is also a better defender than I though. I didn't think much of his defense with the Hornets, I thought he just got a lot of steals. But I've noticed his defense more with the Clippers.
I was too young for those guys.
I remember Lue on the lakers early 2000's, but don't remember his style of play really.
Lue is a nobody, but the Lakers were searching for answers, and they found out that he could guard Iverson, in the 2001 Finals. They used him the rest of the series.
Ok, I tried searching on YouTube, but all I see are Iverson highlights on Lue. No clips of Lue's defense.
To be fair to Lawson, there's not a lot of short PGs that are good on defense, usually you need to be 6'2 or 6'3.
So he's not the only one. But it doesn't help his cause.
