I think FED is a bad matchup for Tsonga.
I think Tsonga would have an easier time beating Djokovic or Murray.
I'm not worried.
For Berdych, I think FED is easier for him, because Djokovic and Nadal's defense is too good.
They were showing Tsonga coming out of the tunnel...and looming in the background was the shadow of the FED...like a predator stalking its prey before he goes in for the kill![]()
Brad Gilbert says Tsonga will have to break 4 times to win this match.
FED hasn't been broken the entire match, and only faced 1 break point after the 1st round (against Tomic after he was up 2 sets).
I can say that if someone breaks FED 4 times, they deserve to win. It probably isn't a close match (at least vs. Tsonga) if that happens.
I missed that.
What do you think of FED's outfit? It seems like Nike comes up with a new outfit for him at every major.
For this one, its gray and pink. His shoes are just like that, gray shoes with pink laces. And his shirt is gray with a pink zipper.
I don't think gray and pink go together. I would say black and pink, or a darker color to contrast with the pink.
I liked his "Darth FED" outfit from the USO several years ago, I think 2007.
FED has beaten Tsonga only once at a major, and he needed to come back from down 2 sets.
Tsonga was just serving on fire, and FED earned only 1 break point on Tsonga. Or you could say FED's return game wasn't good.
Almost every other meeting is a 3 or 4 set easy win.
I know! You've mentioned Darth Fed many times

I like this outfit. I'm generally a fan when he wears black shorts/shoes and socks. I guess his shorts are dark grey? (when they showed a close-up). But the contrast is just enough to me
What do you think of these IBM INsights? Are you 100% sold on them?
Why would Tsonga use that backhand slice? That's a sitting duck.
No. They're weird, I don't see the relationships.
A lot of them are like if you hit 70% serves then you'll have a 78% chance of winning a set.
They seem like they'd be true for any player.
I would prefer a relationship like if you have +8 winners / unforced errors, then you win a set 82% of the time. Something like that . The ones they show, are weird ones.
FED would have had a backhand passing shot but he hit it into the net.
