    There's some good games.

I also like watching the halftime celebration they do to honor MLK during the Memphis game every year.

I've watched most of them from 2002 onward.

However, I think the last one I caught in 2010 or 2011, the halftime celebration was stripped down a lot. Normally they have some HOFs making quick speeches recognizing the day.

I'm also a little sick of TV right now, so don't know how much I will watch. Which is a shame, because I like seeing matchups that aren't too common but still good, and most of the above qualify. Even though Bulls vs. Lakers is fairly common every year, it's somewhat intriguing without Rose, because of how they have to compensate. They play extra hard and move the ball even more.

    17 all.

Wow, it looks like they move the MLK Celebration to before tip-off. They just recapped it in the 1st quarter.

No wonder I've missed it the past few years, expecting it to be at halftime. I missed it again this year.

I thought Memphis lost the game by having Bayless late in the 3rd and early in the 4th.

That's when Indiana made that push to get the lead again.

Also, even though George nearly had a triple double, he wasn't impressive with his offense or passing. His defense was pretty good though.

Spurs are playing really slow today. They've been a faster team the past few years, but today they're just working it into the post.

This is at least the 3rd Philly game I've seen, and I never feel like I'm watching someone special with Holiday.

Or, he's not able to impose his will all game long.

I'll probably check back on TNT in about an hour or later, for the 2nd game.

Cmon Holiday, you can't turn it over like that.

Philly has turned it over so much the last few minutes.

A few years ago, I didn't like the Bulls offense much.

They look like they have a plan now. It's not bad.

    Hamilton, Boozer, Gibson post up.

    Bellinelli comes off screens.

    Nate Robinson is Nate Robinson.

They have been really efficient offensively in some recent games (especially the ESPN game @ New York). Heinrich fits right in too, he plays good defense

They are a tough team to figure out. They have surprised people in the past 2 seasons by playing better than expected. This year: they have underperformed.

Holliday took 20 shots. I wonder why so many?

    I just don't know.

Barkley was also the color commentator. He kept saying that they weren't going to win by taking those long jumpers.

(He's right, unless you have a great shooting player, you usually don't win that way).

I think with guys like Lawson, Teague, and Holiday, they seem "ok", but I just rarely feel like I'm watching one of the 10-15 best players in a conference, or someone who's top 6-7 at his position. I keep hoping one of them will be even better, like at a Rondo level.
