Tore it against the Hawks, just had an MRI. He actually practiced which is surprising but now he is done for the year.

Someone on 98.5 made an interesting observation Friday, of the 27 3Ds Rondo put up in his career, 20 of them came on nationally televised games.

Further proof that when Rondo had only 2 points in the Kings win, the Kings weren't getting the real Rondo.
Time for the Celtics to have a fire sale. Any hope of a playoff run is gone
I love reading about how beat writers are saying the Celtics will be looking into getting Lowry/Gay/Cousins/Jesus when they have absolutely no assets to get anything. They don't have the Lakers luck in that capacity, nor do they have any young stars outside of Rondo for leverage. They need to explore dumping what they have to help move them along in the future.
Trading Garnett to a contender is a possibility.
Among those teams, Garnett for Gay kind of makes sense, if you could start a Garnett-Randolph-Gasol frontcourt.
Garnett is probably a better defender at SF than 95% of the league, anyways. And on offense, he's usually on the perimeter.
I don't see that making much sense. Garnett can't play big minutes anymore, and he has lost too much speed to guard most SFs. He never played the position before either. He has always been a stretch big, and used that to his advantage on the offensive end. Then you factor in getting a guy making MORE than Rudy Gay who is older and less effective at this point. If Memphis were to trade Gay, they want quality young pieces and first round picks back. The Celtics can't offer either.
