It was an important weekend for the Kings, especially with the unis.J/K, with the Here We Buy night.
And they were memorable game threads. It would have been nice to see him there.

He was sadly out of touch with reality-- joking.
Have a plan, don't suck!
IF
The Kings do not pickup Garcia's option
The Kings do not pickup Honeycutt's option
Aaron Brooks opts out
Do not bid on Johnson
Do not bid on Evans
The kings would be at about $40M in salary cap - still in good shape after signing Thomas.
PG: Isaiah Thomas
SG: Thorton
SF: Salmons
PF: Thompson, Robinson, Outlaw (still scratching head about Outlaw)
C: Cousins, Hayes
Since they are a defensively challenged team, I would think a 1st round pick of Noel or Porter would be solid.
Question: Which wings/PGs would best benefit the team on defense?
Also, would you require Smart to hire a defensive coordinator?

* Jeff Teague
* Andre Iguodala
* OJ Mayo
* Tony Allen
* Andre Kirilenko
* Stephen Jackson
* Corey Brewer
* Dominic McGuire
* Josh Smith
Iguodala meets the need of a defensive stopper...

The Kings will pick up Thomas's option since its at $885k, and extending him won't effect their cap space for this offseason.
Once again the 2013 free agent corps will be weak, and nobody marquee will consider Sacramento. I like Tony Allen, but he wouldn't want to come here and play for a crap team. Another 20 win season here we come!
I think new ownership and building of new arena would be huge. FA's will be more interested
I'd sadly prefer to keep Reke over Iggy. I think Evans can be at a comparable level to Iggy in seven years, which is their age gap - ceiling is higher if the world was perfect.
McGuire is good! Check out these amazing box scores. The rebounds, assists, and steals!

Here's a game against the Kings. KingsOwn19 was pissed that McGuire was beating them.

Go after Josh Smith. I doubt he wants to play with a rebuilding team but hes the most talented guy on that roster and thats how u upgrade a team. I agree with Matt that ppl will start looking at Sacramento once we get a new arena. Plus the Kings still dont have a franchise face yet. Anyone that can come here and play on a daily basis can easily be the face of the franchise. Thats wat some ppl like to be and now they can get that oppurtunity.
Like me some Josh Smith, but holy fucking big man jumpers. Between he and Cousins we'd have the least points in the paint in the league, lol.
I honestly dont think Cousins remains with the team much longer. I think someone will offer a decent package for him next yr. We will have a new gm owners and theyll pull the trigger on a deal. Cousins long term isnt with the Kings and its fair to say due to his actions towards the team and our actions towards him. Hes gonna go else where when given a chance.
