USA TODAY is reporting Garcia, T-Rob, and Honeycutt were traded to Houston for Patterson, Aldrich, Douglas and cash. I hate this move as they are selling way too low on T-Rob and didn't even get rid of any bad contracts. Aldrich is crap. Douglas is replaceable so its basically T-Rob for Patterson.

When Drew Gooden was the #4 pick, he was traded 3 months into his career for Mike Miller.
Players traded their first two years don't net much, partially because they're on rookie contracts. I liked Mike Miller, though.

I think Petrie is kept because he is willing to make money trades for the Maloofs without much objection. He should of been gone years ago. He is pathetic, and his deals have really kept this franchise tied to the bottom.

how is it a bad trade? Patterson is a way better player than Thomas. I understand u give a big man wat 3-4 yrs and see wat they can do? Patterson is a way more devloped player than Robinson is right now. We just got a better offensive player. he played with Cousins in Kentucky. Lets hope they still have that chemistry and it will be great. We lose a bum in Garcia and his contract and Honeycut who?? We get Aldrich who is probably a bum as well but a #11 pick and is still young. Why another pg is weird but he was decent for NY.

Yes Patterson could start on the Kings right now, but it's not like they got Faried. They got someone who's like Carl Landry. Pretty efficient offensive player, but not a good rebounder.
Yes hes way better. Robinson hasnt done anything to impress me and maybe its the lack of minutes. He played out of control and way to sloppy. Patterson has a chemistry going on with Cousins and they were successful right? Patterson also had better rebound numbers in college so we know he can grab them.
Carl Landry's about as perfect a comparison as you'll find.

Well this is a head-scratcher for sure. Don't know why the Kings would trade T-Rob so quickly. Patterson is cool I guess. Just not for T-Rob. I guess the only good thing is that we get rid of Cisco's contract.
