So I got a Tivo in January.
I thought that by returning the Comcast DVR, I would end up paying $10 less a month, on my bill.
It turns out that Comcast then adjusts the "credits" I get on my promotion, actually causing my bill to go up by $2-3.
I tried talking to a rep on the phone, but it doesn't look like there's much they can do. I'm going to go to their on-site store and just see if I can talk to someone. I don't expect much to be done, but it just seems better to talk to someone in person.
I might be missing something in between the bills. Maybe it's right after all, we'll see.

everytime I talk to them they put me on some promotion to "lower my bill while getting additional channels"

sorry to hear. in cases like that, they should do something halfway decent for the customer, and just give you $10 off or whatever
