Yeah, inserts are common with Stoupe (the producer for JMT)

Also, you should listen to some tracks (just the intros really) off GZA's 'Liquid Swords'

Most songs on this album are like that..he also likes to sample a lot of samurai/martial arts movies too.

It's scratching, or a sample used in the song (I've listened to other instrumentals that play the samples)

I like the actual lyrics to this song too, but the instrumental is just....liberating
