    Nets sign F Mirza Teletovic

He is a Bosnian power forward playing in Spain

He played really well in Euroleague, 23 points, 6 something rebounds a game.

    From Wikipedia

July 3, 2012 Teletović verbally agreed to a 3-year $15.6 million dollar contract with the Brooklyn Nets of the NBA.[7] This deal has since changed to a 3-year $9 million dollar contract[8], so as to qualify under the NBA collective bargaining agreement's Taxpayer Mid-Level Exception[9]

I hope this guy turns out to be a solid player, not just another Euro disappointment.

I think there are more American disappointments like Hasheem Thabeet or Andray Blatche than Europeans ones.

What do you think of a Lopez-Teletovic rotation?

Eh. I can see Teletovic being either a 6th-7th man who plays 15-20 minutes, or just someone at the end of the bench. However, since they're paying him 3m a year, you would assume that they would use him in some way, not just bury him on the bench.

But I've only seen the guy play once lol..and that was in Euroleague action. It's very hard for NBA scouts to predict how these guys play in the league, it could honestly go either way. If he ends up playing like Nenad Krstic (when he was starter in NJ) then I'd be content with that.

Eh...I'm a little disappointed. I wanted to see more postups/defensive plays...not just another tall, soft Euro player jacking up 3's.

Gerald Wallace is like the lowest paid player in the Nets starting lineup, and he's making $10 million a year

Zach Randolph, Al Jefferson, Pau Gasol, Luis Scola, Tim Duncan, Marc Gasol, DeMarcus Cousins, and Kobe Bryant have good post games, IMO.

Carlos Boozer uses a combination of face-up and post-up. He uses more face up now than he used to.

Rashard Lewis used to back guys down, and then use a turnaround jumper, for McMillan, in 2004-2005.

Nowitzki has developed one. I liked his post game the best in 2005-2006 though.

Jason Kidd, Chauncey Billups were also decent at it.

Yeah but i dont see it as much especially in the recent playoffs, before the post was used like every other play, now more like 1 in 6. Did you notice how little Duncan went to the post against the heat. Im just saying from what i noticed.

Yeah, it's not as noticeable. But I think it's also the teams involved. Most players I mentioned have been in the league for a while.

Duncan is also too old to bang in the post. He's not quick enough to use his moves in the post as often, so he has to take a lot more perimeter jumpers.

Elton Brand and Jermaine O'Neal were a few other good post players. But Jermaine wasn't as good after in injuries, starting in 2006-2007.

And Brand was never the same after he came back from injury, in 2007-2008.

Back in the 2006 playoffs, Elton Brand once went 18-22 FG in a game. That would have been a more frequent post player.

Sam Cassell also had some nice spin moves.

Again, I seem to only remember older players, lol. Not too many younger ones.

Yeah its too bad, for me the post is the most entertaining aspect of the game. I remember as a kid imitating Hakeem's dream shake.lol

Hakeem is probably my favorite player.

I used to also like David Robinson and Ewing, but not as much, as the years passed.

I actually don't think Cousins has a good post game yet. He is great in getting into the paint...boxing out...but he doesn't have many moves. That is why he lead the league in being blocked last year. Lots of his points came from getting 2nd-3rd chance opportunities off of his own misses down low. He goes straight up, nothing special.

Hakeem was always one of my all-time favorites as well. Ultimate professional, and outstanding talent. I've always like Duncan and D-Robinson for their professionalism above everything as well.
