I have to say i think Kapernick should just be our official starting QB, because last game if Smith was in i think we would have lost because, Kaperick can scramble like a boss and escaped at least 3 or 4 sacks, where as if Smith was in he would have gone down for sure. I guess time will tell but if Kapernick doesnt get to be a official starting QB(i think he choose Smith as the official starter), then the Harbaugh should slowly start to phase out Smith.
The fact that they were looking at Peyton says all one needs to know about Jim's confidence in Alex's ability. I mean, I feel bad for sounding like I'm crapping on Alex because I'm really not, but, he's just limited in what he can do.
He does what he does - he does it well - but you can't make him be something he's not.
He's like a Doug Christie in football form. He'll do what he does and do it well, but he's not a 20ppg scorer no matter how hard you try to make him be one.

problem being the offensive line can run block but can't pass block for shit....Kap didn't have even 1 play he wasn't immediately flushed out

@Harry- brilliant point, that is other than our akers, and sometimes our secondary, i would say our weakest link actually now that think about it, its the weakness if fixed can overcome our other problems, because a Kapernick with time in the pocket is a Kapernick who ends up with a superbowl in his pocket

You guys see that crazy game against the pats last night. When they caught up i thought they would win, but ty god for james and Kapernick. Most def a future superbowl matchup.
I know people will call me a 49ers hater. I think SF loses to SEA next week at Safeco. Neither NE or SF wins the Super Bowl.
