Also, I would suggest a "5 minute rule" in the future. If your scheduled guest doesn't call within 5 minutes of the assigned time, and you have another live caller, take the caller.

The number is available on Blog Talk Radio's website though. I see it every time I stream your show.
I'll re-listen to the segment and see if I think it seems like he was trying to pump his show.
Even if he was, I think it's a sort of "I scratch your back, you scratch mine" type of thing. If you were to let him on, he would promote your show on his show in the future, or he would ask you to be a guest caller, etc.
BTW you forgot to make your survival pick! Is "Mr. Football" ever going to win one of these leagues?![]()
Ok, you are right, he did have his own show. He said he also had a podcast on Blog Talk Radio.
But, as I mentioned previously, I think establishing a relationship like this would help you get a bigger audience. He comes on your show, he then has you on his show, and you can reach his audience too. Some of them will also like your show, and you'll get more listeners that way.
What do you think?
Also, do you want regular listeners to call in? Or do you want a format where it's only you, Adam, and predetermined guests?
I think having listeners call in would make it better too, but it's your call on the format. I also think that since your show is only 30 minutes, there might not be enough time for you to get to everything you want to get to, and still take callers.
Maybe you can tweet on your account that you'd like Jeff, the one that called in to your show, to call back?
Or to PM you, etc.?
Maybe say something like "Jeff, you called into my Blog Talk Radio show Three For The Win on 12/15/2012, please call back next time or DM me."
I don't know anyone on twitter named Jeff who follows me
Could be a lurker. Like me.
But I only lurk on your Twitter, not anyone elses. Not even from people who I chat with through other means, and who have been begging me to get on Twitter.
It's worth a shot, IMO. You never know, he might be reading it.
Think about it this way. Not all of the people that have listened to you in the past follow you from Twitter, right? Some of them may have found out about it through other means, and subsequently randomly checked your Twitter, right?
New episode of Three for the Win tonight at 8:00 PST

No co hosts, just me
Ended up running out of time midway through. So no closing or buzzer sound. Despite that, it felt like a great show. One of if not the best I have done IMO. Let me know what you think nuraman00
What time and station is Dan Patrick on? I used to listen to it on 1050 until the schedule shuffling. I don't think they broadcast it anymore.
++++++++++++++++++++
Matt Johnson @ThreefortheWin I can say I have successfully moved on from ESPN First Take. Now listen to the Dan Patrick Show every morning
Also. It is funny how "Three for the Win" was named because there was going to be 3 hosts. Now it is just me
Well he hasn't been on in a month and the past 5 episodes I haven't even asked him if he could cohost
Ok, from this thread, the last time I posted about Adam was 11-29-2012, 07:44 AM, so that would be for Tue, November 27, 2012's show. But yeah, it's been almost a month, 3 weeks at least.
