BTW I'll update the OP as the offseason progresses.

What to do about Scutaro? He's 36.

But he's usually been a pretty good hitter. And I'm ok with his fielding too.

    I say 3 year deal.

Wow, he made $6,000,000 last year. But so did Freddy Sanchez. I guess that's the going rate.

    3 year deal, $18M?

    Ozzie Guillen article:

Eze, what do you think of Guillen as a manager?

Who would you rather have, Guillen or Bochy?

Martie Laurie has been talking a lot about Tori Hunter today.

I like Blanco, he's so awesome at defense.

But the lineup could use more power too.

Since Pence is a FA, I'd prefer getting a power hitter at RF (other than Pence).

And then if Pagan doesn't resign, try to get one there. But I'd want Pagan back.

    Thanks!

Young is pretty good, even if he had a bad year last year. So who's going to play SS?

I'm assuming Stephen Drew? Interesting, I didn't really think of it.

What do you think happened with Jemile Weeks? Are they going to give him another chance? Is he just not as good as his partial 2011 season was?

BTW, I'm hoping Colon goes against Verlander next year whenever Verlander pitches against the A's, and outduels him, haha. Since Colon is back, he's the guy I want to beat Verlander. Just because he's the least likely, coming off a steroids season.

Yeah very disappointing season for him. They have to, right? He had some flashes two years ago and he is still around 25 I believe. So I would still give him another shot.

D-Backs are seriously shopping Justin Upton. Reportedly looking for a young 3B/SS. Perfect fit is the Rangers

I totally could see a Jurickson Profar for Justin Upton swap if Josh Hamilton goes elsewhere. Rangers have Profar who is considered to be significantly better then Andrus

That's saying something when Andrus is pretty good himself.

However, do you really want to gamble on a rookie? They have a good thing going.

It's not like the Giants who needed to find a younger replacement for Renteria and Uribe (when Uribe left).

BTW, thanks for updating this thread with all of the news.

You're probably going to say "no", but are you going to join me in the TNT thread tonight, or do you have to watch Colts-Jaguars?

I will post in the TNT Thread even if I'm not watching

I would trade Andrus if I were the Rangers. Profar is BIG time
