Depends on what the buyout is on the third year. Getting excessive tho.
No problems with the Pagan deal at all, especially given what Upton got.

agreed on Pagan although it sounds like it would just be a straight up 3 year deal
Bobby Evans (VP) said the Giants are preferring a two year deal with an option, so, hope it goes that way. Don't really want to see a 40 year old Scutaro out there, though, he could be an expensive bench bat in the final year in a worst case.
Scutaro re-signs. Cards offered more annual salary, Giants caved and gave third year.
3 years, $20 million. Cards offered 2 years, $16+.
Well, PackfanMatt_12's 2012 predicted WS of Angels vs. Giants may happen in 2013. I'm going to be mad if the Giants don't win. Their decision not to sigh Hamilton better not slap them in the face. I've been yearning for a back-to-back for 2 years, 1 month.
Re: Angels-Hamilton
1.) Hamilton in LA=horrible mess
2.) 5 year contract=HORRIBLE idea and length
3.) $125M=NO THANK YOU MR. INJURY PRONE COKE
LA=massive media market. All the attention, focus and scrutiny will be on him. Also LA is one of the biggest drug capitals in the US
Link?
Neither Dallas nor Los Angeles are on here.

All the attention won't be on Hamilton. They have Weaver and Pujols who are bigger stars. Or at least Pujols.
Well the Giants better sign a good RF. I didn't like Pence that much, but if they resign him and he plays well then I'll be ok.
Also, doesn't it look like my prediction for the A's offseason is coming true, when they let McCarthy go? (He was expensive, but still). They're losing key players from last year, as expected. Only with McCarthy it was via letting him walk, as opposed to a trade.
This is what I said:
Pence is already signed - it's just an arbitration situation where they go to an arbitrator to decide his deal for the upcoming season if they can't do it themselves or work out a long term deal.
