Mike Trout or Miguel Cabrera for MVP

Who do you think should win?

I say Mike Trout. MVP is more then an offensive award it goes to the best player. Mike Trout did it all in one less month then Miggy. I know Cabrera won the Triple Crown, that is historic. Look at what Trout did though. 30 HR's as a rookie CF, 49 SB's as a rookie. Gold Glove D (he was robbed by Adam Jones of the actual award). He did all of this at the age of 20-21. The Angels also won more games then the Tigers and is just the better all around player. Trout is the best player in baseball and should be the MVP IMO

Is this the Braun vs. Posey thread? Your thoughts?

    (I'll post more later).

To me, MVP is only an offensive award.

But I would go with Trout because he batted almost as well and he could steal bases.

I would also go with Braun. Batted well, had 41 HRs, and 30 SBs.

MVP (in really, any sport) is a flawed award since nobody really votes on the same criteria. Is it offensive? Is it both? Is it about team or individual performance?

Until they define it, it's kind of silly.
