    Tyus Edney vs. Isaiah Thomas

From their rookie year through their 2nd year:

    Tyus Dwayne Edney
    Position: Guard ▪ Height: 5-10 ▪ Weight: 152 lbs.
Draft: Sacramento Kings, 2nd round (18th pick, 47th overall), 1995 NBA Draft

    Isaiah Thomas ▪ Twitter: @Isaiah_Thomas2
    Position: Guard ▪ Height: 5-9 ▪ Weight: 185 lbs.
Draft: Sacramento Kings, 2nd round (30th pick, 60th overall), 2011 NBA Draft

Thomas is a better shooter, but other than that, they seem similar.

Edney assisted and turned it over more.

I remember good ole Tyus. I think Isaiah is a better player than, he is much more creative and stronger than Edney was. Unfortunately Isaiah hasn't shown anything this year.

Grant would often say, during Edney's rookie year, "Tyus Edney with the bucket! The 2nd round steal!".

It was exciting that both Brian Grant and Edney were pretty good as rookies.

I remember when people were upset that the Kings had drafted Brian Grant over Eric Montross. Everyone thought Montross would be their guy to fill the center role, and was was a perfect fit for the team. Fortunately they passed as Montross never amounted to anything and Grant was good even though he didn't like being on the Kings. They actually picked up 3 power players that draft with Grant....Michael the Animal Smith and the great Funderburke. Thats two second rounders that stayed in the league for a short bit, and the following year they got Tyus in the second round.

Isaiah has a lot to prove to prevent himself from suffering the same fate as Tyus. I had hopes for Isaiah, but coming into the new season worse than last year and making all kinds of careless mistakes doesn't bode well. Too much pizza in his system.

    I don't remember that.

I loved Michael "The Animal" Smith.

    Didn't like Funderburke.

Maybe it's because I don't pay attention, but I've never seen so many "family" and "friends" of players on other teams shit on their coach like they do for the Kings.

Jimmer's brother did it - Reke's brother did it - Isaiah's business manager. It's a revolving door of suck.

Devin Harris' brother did it last year to Corbin.
