Kings Forum is a general forum: one place for the conversations that deserve more than a comment section and outlast a group chat. Technology, games, films, work, life, things you made, things you cannot figure out. If it is worth talking about, there is a board for it.
How it works, in short
- Every board on the front page collects one kind of topic. Pick the one that fits and start a discussion.
- A discussion is a title and an opening post; replies follow in order. Like a post to say it helped. Quote it to answer a specific part.
- Mention someone with
@usernameand they get a notification. You get one when someone replies to your discussion, likes your post or follows you. - Follow members whose posts you want to keep up with. Message them privately from their profile; by default a first message arrives as a request they can accept.
- Groups are spaces members make for themselves: a hobby, a city, a game. Join one from the Groups page, or start your own.
- Reading is open to everyone. Posting needs an account, and the sign-up takes a minute.
A few asks
Read the community guidelines once. They are short. The one that matters most: disagree with ideas as hard as you like, never with the person.
